Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tawiwan Kangsadan—TGGS Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Management to be Thailand’s representative in ASAIHL International Conference 2020 during June 18-19, 2020 at University of Warsaw in Poland!
Dr. Tawiwan presented the country report on the topic of “International Collaborations with Thai Universities for International Graduate Study Program in Engineering” at The 44th ASAIHL Thailand Conference: The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) in the theme of “Bridges for Science and Education: Cooperation, Trust, Openness and Creativity in Globalized World” on December 12, 2019 and was selected by Office of Secretariat, Association of Southeast Asian of Higher Learning of Thailand, Office of The Higher Education Commission to be the representative from Thailand at ASAIHL International Conference 2020 during June 18-19, 2020 at University of Warsaw in Poland.
In this report, the international collaborations in the postgraduate engineering study program between Thai and foreign universities are summarized with the main emphasis on the German Education Engineering Model that has been practice at TGGS focusing on the industrial oriented education and research. Moreover, the correlation between the engineering education, the university rankings and the country’s economy are briefly studied to determine the suitable engineering education model and the best practice in Thailand.
